To reset a forgotten PIN on a Lenovo Tab P11 (2nd Gen), you must perform a factory reset via Recovery Mode, which erases all data. Turn off the tablet, hold Volume Up + Volume Down + Power simultaneously until the Lenovo logo appears, select "Wipe data/factory reset," and restart. 


Steps to Reset Your Lenovo Tablet PIN

• Turn off the tablet completely.
• Enter Recovery Mode: Press and hold the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power buttons at the same time.
• Release Buttons: When the Lenovo logo appears, release the Power button, but continue holding Volume Up + Volume Down.
• Navigate the Menu: When the Android recovery screen appears, use the volume buttons to navigate to "Wipe data/factory reset".
• Confirm Selection: Press the Power button to select "Wipe data/factory reset".
• Confirm Factory Reset: Use the volume buttons to select "Factory data reset" or "Yes" and press the Power button to confirm.
• Reboot: After the process is complete, select "Reboot system now". 
  

Important Notes

• Data Loss: This process will delete all photos, apps, and personal data, restoring the tablet to its original factory settings.
• Google Account Required: After resetting, you will be required to log in with the same Google Account previously used on the tablet to unlock it, due to Factory Reset Protection (FRP).
• Alternative: If you have set up a PIN/password via a remote management service, you might be able to unlock it using that, but the recovery mode method is the standard solution for a forgotten local screen lock.
